Pat made this folded bag out of some amazing patterned material.
It gives great definition to the folds.

Twisted Square Bag

Beryl has made this bag using the Twisted Square Technique.
I taught this technique at the beginning of the month.
Beryl used batik fabric to make the squares.
There are 21 squares in the main bag and 2 either side.

Lace Folded Purse Makes

I always try and show different inspiration each week
and this week I was inspired by some lace Irene had
given me and some beautiful upholstery fabric I had been
treasuring.
I had seen on You Tube a video put on by a lovely
Australian lady and I made mine but with
alterations and some tweaks in the method.
As you can see the Textile Class had a great time
and it opened everyones mind boxes with
the origami!!!

Lace Folded Purse

Monday 31st October!!!!!! :-\
I am always looking out for folded bag patterns
and I came across a beaded and decorated one on You tube.
So I decided to make this and decorate mine with lace
and machine embroidery.
I think I will make several of these as gifts.

Monday at Knit Wits

I am now doing an extra Monday at
Knit Wits at the beginning of the month.
It was a lovely morning with a quilt being put
together, folded bags and a fancy Union Jack Cushion.
In the afternoon I finished my Japanese Bag from
the Saturday Workshop and had a good
browse of the lovely new fabrics that Fiona
has ordered in.

Purple Folded Bag

On the 15th of September I am teaching the
'Japanese Folded Bag' at Knit Wits.
So I made a purple on using strips as that is the theme
for this months classes and in purple so it
could go in the window.

Kates Folded Bag

Monday afternoon I wrapped up Kate's Bag and a little book.
As a Birthday Gift, I know she loves these colours!
It was well received in the evening and everyone wanted to know
how it was made.

Patchwork Folded Bag

Here is Sylvia's folded bag made from a bag of purple and pink scraps.
I love it when a bag of fabric bits makes something really beautiful.
Well done Sylvia!

Carol's Folded Bag

Carol has been enjoying making smaller projects over
the last few weeks. She is making these folded bags for a gift stall
she is presenting for the local Cancer Care Trust.
This one really looks like a cupcake!
Well done Carol for all your lovely work.

Japanese Folded Bag

On a previous Sunday afternoon, I made
these Folded Bags.
It is my version of a bag pattern that was in
magazine, designed by Alison Harris.
I will make some more of these for gifts and workshops
as they are so 'natty'!
