101 Quilts

I am catching up blogging so will fill you in with some more of
my creative shared days.
I was invited to talk about my 101 Quilts at t Sewing Group at
North Elham.
A lovely group of ladies who really wanted to know how they
were made and techniques.
As you can see by the pile of quilts on the table it was a small venue.
Janet's "Shed" as she calls it, a converted cottage in the garden.
A lovely space for creating textiles and sharing with friends.
I had a lovely afternoon and we finished with tea and cake!
Thank you so much for inviting me and the donation to
my charities.

Alveva Quilters and Annette Morgan

Alveva Quilters of Feltwell meet once a month, on the third Wednesday at 7pm and we have some wonderful evenings with 'Show and Tell' and then often a speaker or technique led evening. We were lucky enough to have Annette Morgan come to share her work and her latest inspiration with us.
Annette is also a City and Guilds teacher so her knowledge of quilting and textiles is vast. We all had a wonderful evening and the group brought her DVD for our library box. Thank you Annette for sharing your work and time with us. You will often see Annette at shows and Exhibitions be sure to say, 'hello' or visit her website HERE

Osteoporosis Kings Lynn Group

On the evening of Thursday the 22nd of March I gave a talk on 'Life as a Textile Artist' this photograph is in my studio a couple of days before prepping for the evening. I normally show about 101 quilts sometimes more depending on the group and talk required. It was a lovely evening with about 60 members in attendance. The gentlemen were also amazed at the techniques and work commented to the group which was lovely.
