Vintage Lace Keepsake File, Blue

So here is the prepared Vintage lace File painted Blue!
Now it is ready to be embellished with stitch,beading and
attaching the linning with it's pockets.

    Just curious about what you used to paint this lace blue. Dye, watercolor or paint.

    I used procion dye mixed with water to paint te lace.
