Gallery Tuesday 18th October 2011

I love teaching @The Gallery in Dereham on
'Textile Tuesdays', as I am able to help students
create with lots of different medias.
Ann has been very busy and wanted to get stuck into some real
art creating on fabric.
She had brought several different types of fabric
and some squares of silk and got painting
with a mixture of fabric paints.
Making textures by using different tools to
apply the paint as well as salt to extract the colour.
When they were dry or almost it was out with
the heat gun and soldering iron to melt and
'cut out' the flower shapes.
see more of Ann's work over the
next couple of weeks as it builds into a wall hanging.
See more of what goes on @The Gallery
