Class Dates



I will be speaking and teaching at various venues throughout the year but my main Studio will be at The Old Art Room, 93 High Street Swaffham. A fully equipped Art Studio,
 The Old Art Room is open from 9.30am until 4.00 Monday to Thursday and Friday and Saturday 9.30am until 2.30.

All classes and sessions, are for all abilities from beginners to advanced alike as there is a range of skills and techniques available for each inspiration topic or develop your own art interest.

Monday 

Mixed Media Art in the morning 10am until 12.15

2.45-4.30 Private Art Classes .

 Textile Tuesday and Thursday: Two sessions 10 until 12.15 and then 12.30 until 2.45. See what goes on HERE

Every week there is inspiration and a project and on the forth week it is quilt making from being inspired to designing your own quilt or using your materials. You can also bring along your own project for help or guidance. The Block of the Month pattern is 'Stars' for 2013. 

Wednesdays   Creative Textile Techniques (See more information below)
                        Hand Patchwork and Quilting with Adrienne 2pm until 4.30


Friday  Printing and Paper Craft using various print techniques including, collagraphs, lino and screen printing. Book Making/ Journaling and Sketchbooks. See what goes on in class HERE

Saturday The first Saturday of each month is Children's Art Club and the second Saturday is open art day.


Evening Class First Wednesday Evening Of The Month

I have taught Creative Textiles for over ten years. 'Textile Tuesday' and 'Textile Thursday as they are affectionately known are a combination of traditional patchwork, quilting, fabric gift making, machine skills, unusual materials and lots of creativity. 

If you are interested in any sessions you need ring and book your session to secure your place as there are limited places per session or come along on the day and book for future sessions.

Sessions are £10 and include refreshments and the use of the studio equipment.

I bring along lots of inspiration, work in progress and much much more.
The classes will be as shown. Often Sessions will be added when students are wanting to achieve certain techniques and I will update these dates as and when it is required.

Creative Textiles Certificates

I have taught Creative Textiles City and Guilds in Machine Embroidery and Patchwork and Quilting. Level One, Two and Three.
These courses were verified by Norfolk Adult Education and City and Guilds.

The Old Art Room supports and promotes local businesses and charities daily.


Community Artist

I am also available as a Community Artist and Speaker working in schools, with U3A Groups, Wi's and Gardening Clubs.
I can tailor your day or session to fit your venue or topic. I have taught 150 students in a day and give talks and demonstrations to groups in the evening. Please contact me for information.

*My studio was open to the public in 2012 with Norfolk Open Studios.  The studio was awash with colour and techniques and there was something to inspire everyone.
