Card Making Friday 13th January 2012

When I got home from Quilt Class on Thursday
there was a message on my answer phone that
there was a space on the card making afternoon
at Gill's Studio in Kings Lynn due to a
cancellation.
I love going to Gill's Card Making Shop and Studio,
as I always have a list of things for card making I can only
get there.
As you can see we had a wonderful time making
this Victorian Lady Aperture card.
Lots of Printing, cutting, making and painting
using Distress Inks.
There was a new lady starting, a complete
beginner and I learnt lots too!
I came away with my stash that grew as I
in my wisdom arrived early to class and
had lots of time to browse!!!!

Knit Wits Quilt Class 12th January 2012

Thursday was the first day class back at Knit Wits and it
was a busy one!
I demonstrated the 8 different ways of Applique,
the zip bag with printed panel
and there was lots of 'Show and Tell'.
Some had brought in their finished Christmas items,
I encourage and love to see finished items as
we have all been to classes where you make samples
or start a project and some how it never gets finished
and becomes a 'UFO',
(Un Finished Object).
See more by clicking the written labels below
or see what classes are available by

Textile Evening Class

It was back to evening class after the Christmas break and everyone
was eager to get started and continue some of their
projects.
I showed the bag technique and some applique methods
and then everyone got on.
The rectangular piece of upholstery patchwork
is going to be part of a bag.
The top photograph shows one of the finished bags.
Well done, HeatherAnn.
