This one happened after I nipped into town to go to the market

to get some salad for the weekend.

I just love 'blues' as some of you know and

I do have alot of blue dye mixed.

I just loved using my handmade stamps to print with

and rubbed some texture in with oil bars.

This background fabric is now ready to be sandwhiched and heavily quilted.

Not teaching this morning so was able to go into the studio.

What to do?

I have been wanting to just paint some fabric.

So I ironed some sheeting and cut it into banner size pieces.

Used some printing tools to add some background details.

Then opened up the jars of dye and mixed in some thickner and let it flow.

This is now ready for a quilt sandwhich and heavy quilting,

again freeform.
