Jenn and I went into Downham Market today to do some shopping.
We needed a treat so got some gingerbread men and decorated them!!

Conservatory Door Curtain
This is the back door conservatory curtain made of many different blue,white and cream scraps of furnishing fabrics.I now need to make some curtains for the windows now,
maybe something similar?

Conservatory Shelves
As you know since last week I have been decorating the conservatory.These are the newly painted shelves with the contents well and truely sorted through.
I felt I needed to go through and have a spring clean of all the recipes and tips that I had gathered and put them in a file.
A chance to sort out the clutter which is always a good thing but sometimes a difficult thing to do.

Lexi Day
Yesterday, Michelle and Lexi came over for the day.I got the chance to give Lexi a bottle
just before we went for a walk around the woods.
Jenn and I enjoyed our cuddles and catch up with Michelle.
We enjoyed a ladies that lunch in the conservatory as it was
raining off and on all day.
What a lovely time we have!
Friends are so special.

Racing Hare
As you can see I was spotted and the hare took off,racing up the hill to her partner.
I moved further up the garden and photographed many more hares enjoying their breakfast.
It is truely magical watching wildlife doing their thing!
Being so early I decided to clean out and paint the conservatory!
Things you do because of Spring!!!!
You really see the dust and the paintwork that needs doing!!!
Well it is another form of painting!!
Morning Hare
Got dressed pretty quick this morning beacause I wanted to catch the hare's on the field behind Quilters Cottage. We live on a hill so the hares collect at the top and slowly make their way down with the sun.
Stewart's been telling me he has counted at least 18 but there were 12 up this morning
when I crept down the garden with my cup of tea and camera.
This one is clearly washing her face!

Start of a Wallhanging
Angie wanted to use most of the fabrics she had collected together.She had a few guidelines in mind.
No measuring!
No rules!
and
bigger than an A4!!!
This preparation of the wallhanging appeared very quickly
and is definitely larger than A4!
Angie pinned it all in place and had started to turn some of the hems on
the circles,leaving some with their frayed edges too!

Angie now can do the creative stitch and embellishment bit!

Angie came to The Gallery today straight from work!Angie needed some inspiration and others to create with.
It didn't take her long before she emptied all her fabric out on the
table, set a few things she wanted to achieve and not long after
she had a wallhanging in the making.

Carol Machine Quilting
Carol is very percise and she wants her quilting a certain way,so she has quilted a bit,then unpicked,
quilted a bit and then unpicked.
Today she got into the 'zone' and started to quilt how
see really wanted to!
Well done, Carol for your practice and patience.
It is definitely paying off.
Carol took home lots of homework, as The Gallery is closed next week.

Pat's Thank you Angel
Pat finished her mixed media angel today.
Isn't she wonderful?

Front Cover of Vintage Lace Folder
Here is the finished Vintage lace Blue Folder.Embellished with hand and machine stitching.
Additional embellishments with the sequins and metallic threads.
It open and closes with a large pop stud.
It is slightly bigger than an A3 piece of paper when open.
I am really pleased with it because it is nice and compact
and will old all my special keepsake treasures.

Inside the Keepsake Folder
As promised,more of the Vintage Lace Blue Folder.Here are the pockets sewn inside to hold keepsakes.
I have been given lots of 'Blue' treasures over the years
and this folder gives them a home where I can admire them altogether.
I added some of my favourite buttons.

Cream and Gold ATC's
With the garden being so wet I went and played in my studio.The lace box is out and I am behind making a' Vintage Cream' ATC for a swap.
So here are three,one to send,one to keep and one to swap!
Stewart refurbished the BBQ as there was no sign of us using it today!
He cleaned and wired brushed it and then gave it a respray with Stove and BBQ paint.
It looks like new.
Roll on the hot weather.

Vintage Lace Keepsake File, Blue
So here is the prepared Vintage lace File painted Blue!Now it is ready to be embellished with stitch,beading and
attaching the linning with it's pockets.
